Walker update

Walker is really enjoying being in a nice cool house.  With the heat index near 109 degrees, the goldens don't stay out too long.  Cedar would love to play ball, but it is too hot.  He will get to play for a short while in an hour or so.  Walker has realized that he can play with the toys in the basket.  He took each item out of the basket and put it on the patio.  One by one he took out a bone, a ball or a tug rope and took it outside.
Please, can we play ball?

Hey Cedar, what are you doing?

Walker (foster #93)

Meet our new foster boy.  He is getting to know just how great it is to have a family that cares for him.  He is a little shy right now, but once he knows that he is safe and loved, this beautiful boy will be shine.  If anyone remembers seeing the movie "Puppy Paws"  then you can see the resemblance.  He has already learned to go in and out the doggy door and he is beginning to play with the Nyla bone.  He can already go up and down the stairs.  Check back for more updates.

It's hot in Memphis!

We don't have a new foster yet, but Cedar enjoyed playing in the sprinkler a few days ago.

Fancy is on her way home!

We put Fancy on the transport yesterday morning.  Boy was it hard to let this little girl go.  We have had so much fun with her around the house.  She may get into a little mischief from time to time, but the good times far outweigh the bad.  We love you sweet Fancy!

Fancy goes on vacation!

Fancy stayed with another foster family while Tim and I headed to the beach for a few days.  She had a great time playing with Posh and Pilot.  She was a busy girl while we were gone.

Fancy gets adopted!

Fancy will be traveling to her new home in a few weeks and we will truly miss this little girl.  She is so much fun to have around.  She has learned so many things while living at her foster home.  She loves our other goldens and they like her too.  Cedar has taught her how to play ball (she even jumps up to catch the ball on the first bounce).  She will also bring the ball back and place it in your hand.  She learned to use the doggy door and she is completely house trained.  She also loves to go on walks.  Fancy has not let us down.  She is one of my all time favorite fosters.  It is really funny to see her hang out with Cedar while the two goldens hang out.  Now don't get me wrong, Fancy can get into a little mischief.  If you leave a pair of shoes out and about, you may need to buy a new pair.

You better not get my tennis balls!
